Discover our outreach vehicles

Rockford Public Library’s (RPL) Mobile Library Services now includes three vehicles: the Mobile Library Bus, the all new Mini-Mobile Library, and the Digital Library Van. These vehicles are key parts of our community services. They bring library resources directly to district residents who lack convenient access or who are unable to visit our physical locations.

Mobile Library: Get on Board and Learn!

Our state-of-the-art Mobile Library will feature shelves full of our most relevant current materials, high speed Internet capabilities, and other features enabling us to host classes and events of different sizes, inside and out!

Mini-Mobile Library:  Find Your Story!

The Rockford Public Library is proud to launch a new addition to their Mobile Library Services! Our new Mini-Mobile vehicle will allow RPL staff to visit areas that were not accessible with the larger Mobile Library. Inside the climate-controlled interior is a collection of books and other materials (English and Spanish) and high-speed Wi-Fi.
