Growing up in a conservative Muslim household, Fatima Tate has always enjoyed baking, despite her family not supporting it. At seventeen, she meets Raheem, who she falls head over heels for and gets admitted into a sought after baking program. To her delight, her family arranges a marriage between the two! What could go wrong? However once they become engaged, Raheem begins to treat her cruelly and she is faced with some unpleasant dilemnas.
