Rockford Public Library relies on the Foundation’s support to ensure we can provide high-quality free programming that is responsive to the diverse needs and interests of Rockford’s 147,000 residents. Private funding is truly what allows the library to turn a good program into a great program; it’s also what helps RPL pilot new, innovative programs to test their efficacy before becoming part of our core offerings and services.

Thanks to the Foundation’s generosity, new programs and services have been launched and sustained, including Adult Online High School, Summer Reading Club Sponsorship, the Library Giving Day campaign, Cafe RPL, Movies Nights at Nordlof, and the new replacement Main building campaign.
