Black History is Our History

Black History is Our History is an annual celebration at Rockford Public Library honoring the past and present achievements of African Americans. In February 2008, the Library honored African Americans’ contributions to the military, arts, education and science. Be sure to check back later for a full lineup of programs scheduled for 2009.
