The 24-hour-a-day, 7-days a week AskAway answering service is staffed by the 24/7 Reference Consortium, a group of hundreds of librarians across the country who work together to provide this service. Through AskAway, experienced librarians help you find what you need when YOU need it.

Answers are relevant, in context, and from resources available at RPL or from RPL’s web page. Librarians can co-browse web pages and databases with you to help you find useful information. Your questions can be referred to local and national experts for further follow-up when appropriate. You receive transcripts of chat sessions in your emails to refer to later. It’s that easy!
