Sesame Street Live will host story time at the Rockford Public Library!

Exciting things are happening at the Rockford Public Library. Story time at RPL has never been so much fun! Sesame Street Live has confirmed that they’re going to visit our East Branch to have a very special story time on Tuesday, January 6 from 11:15 a.m. -12:15 p.m.

Join us and listen as live performers from the interactive show “Let’s Dance” read Sesame Street stories. Pick up a Sesame Street coloring sheet as well.  Limited photo opportunities will be a part of this great event. This is your chance to get that special photo with Elmo and Cookie Monster!

Hosted by two live performers, Sesame Street Live “Let’s Dance!” offers an up-close, interactive experience like you’ve never experienced before! You, the audience, are invited to dance as all of your favorite Sesame Street friends join you on the floor – dancing with fans of all ages! In addition to ongoing dance parties, Elmo uses his imagination to "Do the Robot," Cookie Monster teaches all ‘feets’ to dance, and Ernie shares the fun of dance with the Sesame Street favorite “Shake Your Head One Time.”
