Rockford Public Library Invites Students to Discover Engineering!

Library celebrates National Engineering Week

 

In celebration of National Engineering Week, Rockford Public Library will host “Discover Engineering: Transportation Station!” on Saturday, February 14, 2009 from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. Students ages 9 – 14 can experience the fundamentals of math and science at work by designing machines to run on land, air and sea from paper. Our special guest, Lon Clark, a paper modeling specialist, will demonstrate the fun and art of paper modeling.  The program will be held in the Main Library Auditorium, 215 N. Wyman St. (Enter from Mulberry St). Registration is required.
