Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clowns Visit RPL
The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey clowns David and Cherie Gregg will make a special appearance at Rockford Public Library’s Starlight Storytime on Tuesday, October 2 from 6:30 – 7:15 p.m. in the Main Library Auditorium, 215 N. Wyman St. (Enter from Mulberry St). This promotion is part of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey’s circus tour scheduled to be in Rockford November 6th – 7th.
Kid of all ages can listen to clown stories, sing songs, make a clown-inspired craft and meet these amazing characters from the circus. Kids are encouraged to wear their pajamas to this family fun-filled event.
“Clowns have long been the best storytellers, comedians and acrobats and the Barnum and Bailey clown is the best of the best,” said Sue Stevens, Youth Services Manager at Rockford Public Library. “We are excited to give the families at this event the chance to interact directly with what has been described as the greatest show on earth.”
Registration is not required. This program is free and open to the public.
