Rockford Public Library Hosts a Drawing for Barney Show
RPL to give away five family four-packs of tickets
September 6, 2006, Rockford, IL: The Barney Live “Let’s Go” Tour will be coming to Rockford on September 29th and 30th and families visiting any of Rockford Public Library’s six locations will have the opportunity to enter to win a family four-pack of tickets and a meet and greet with the loveable purple dinosaur before the show. Entry forms and drawing boxes are available at all six locations and winners will be drawn on Friday, September 22nd for the September 30th show.
“Barney is a very popular children’s character who incorporates fun and songs into important lessons like remembering manners, being friendly and embracing those different than yourself,” said Frank Novak, Executive Director of Rockford Public Library. “We are happy to be able to offer five families in the Rockford area the opportunity to see him live.”
