Black History Month Event at Rockford Public Library
Library to discuss “Django Unchained” film
February 20, 2013, Rockford, IL: In celebration of Black History Month, Rockford Public Library will host a discussion of the film “Django Unchained” on Thursday, February 28, from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. in the Montague Branch Library Connie Lane Room at 1238 S. Winnebago St. Local community activist, organizer, and poet Christopher Sims, and Dr. Litesa Wallace will facilitate the conversation. In addition, the program will be streamed live via Facebook, Twitter, and U-stream. Refreshments will be served.
