Rockford Public Library Hosts Emergency Preparedness Day
Rockford Public Library will host its first community Emergency Preparedness Day on Saturday, September 29, from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in the Main Library Auditorium, 215 N. Wyman St. (Enter from Mulberry St). The Rockford Fire Department, Rockford Health Systems, the University of Illinois College of Medicine and other vendors will be on hand to provide valuable information on how to protect yourself, your family, and home in case of a disaster. In addition, participants will make a family emergency plan and starter Emergency Kits will be given away while supplies last.
This program is free and open to the public. Registration is not required.
