Library Holds Plaque Dedication Ceremony and Reception in Honor of Clayton “Budd” Gustafson

Ruth Boyd-Gustafson to receive plaque honoring late husband’s Endowment Fund.

 

On Saturday, October 28, the Rockford Public Library will hold a “Plaque Dedication Ceremony and Reception” to honor Clayton “Budd” Gustafson. The plaque dedication will be held at 10:00 a.m. at flagpoles in front of the Main Library, 215 N. Wyman St., followed by a reception in the auditorium (Enter from Mulberry St) to thank Mrs. Gustafson for her gift of $10,000 to the library in memory of her late husband Clayton “Budd” Gustafson. Refreshments will be served.

 

In 2004, the Clayton “Budd” and Ruth Boyd-Gustafson Humanities Endowment Fund was established through the Rockford Public Library Foundation in the amount of $10,000. The Fund provides on-going support of the humanities at the Rockford Public Library with a special emphasis on music for children.
