The Friends of Rockford Public Library is a non-profit organization open to all members of the community. The Friends provide financial support, coordinate public book sales, operate the Friends Bookstore and advocate for your library. They help the library achieve its mission to serve our diverse Rockford community.

Some members support the Friends simply by paying their annual dues, while others become more involved by donating their time. However they choose to participate, they’re a valuable part of our Friends team.

Our Friends benefit, too! Membership includes:

• A free subscription to the Friends’ quarterly newsletter
• Advance notice of special book sales
• An invitation to the Friends’ annual meeting
• Invitations to members-only book sales

This year, the Friends of Rockford Public Library celebrate their 30th Anniversary and RPL is lucky to have such a dedicated Friends group. As RPL grows and improves, so does our need for Friends!
