Description
The Keith Maffioli Scholarship is offered through the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois. Established in memory of Keith Maffioli, who died in 1945 after serving with the Twenty-Eighth Army Division, this scholarship is for "worthy scholars who otherwise might not receive a college or university education." To apply, you must complete an online application and submit a packet of additional materials in hard copy by the deadline. See www.cfnil.org.
Who Qualifies
Graduating senior from a Boone, Ogle, Stephenson or Winnebago County school who has a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and shows financial need. (Financial need is defined as having an EFC of less than 10,000 for this scholarship.) May attend a college (including technical, business and community colleges) or university.
