Description
This $600 scholarship is designed to help young nontraditional students who might be working and be a parent. The scholarship may be applied to CNA or RN coursework. The application deadline in 2012 was Oct. 31.
Who Qualifies
Student must attend a recognized program by the State of Illinois, be a working mother or father, age 20-30, resident of Winnebago or Boone or Ogle or Stephenson County, have a strong work ethic, and be willing to work in the geriatric field for at least one year (a home health position or skilled nursing facility or assisted living facility).
