The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Scholarship is awarded, and the deadline is normally toward the end of October. The Information Packet must be received by Nelson O. Minter by the deadline indicated below, in a single large envelope.
Who Qualifies
African-American male in the 12th grade seeking to obtain a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, having a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, and active in school and community.
Requirements
Your Information Packet must include: 1- Completed application form 2- Official copy of current high school transcript 3- Color photo head shot, at least 3"x5" 4- Two letters of recommendation: one from school official, one from community leader 5- Any additional information that helps us get to know you
