Description
The Geoffrey R. Laird Memorial Scholarship is offered through the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois. To apply, you must complete an online application and submit a packet of additional materials in hard copy by the deadline. See www.cfnil.org. The purpose is to provide educational resources for a young man beginning or continuing a college education in math, science, or computer technology.
Who Qualifies
Applicant must be a male under the age of 23, who is graduating from high school or is a current college student and pursuing a major in math, science, or computer technology.
Requirements
Minimum GPA is 3.0/4.0. Applicant must demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Winnebago County.
