Description
YWCA of Rockford provides two $1500 scholarships to female high school seniors who demonstrate leadership characteristics and the potential to effect positive change. The application and instructions may be downloaded in Word, or downloaded in PDF format (for typewriter use) from www.ywca.org/rockford. The scholarships will be awarded at Leader Luncheon xxxii: Women of Achievement, on Monday, March 5, 2012, 11:30 a.m. at Giovanni's Restaurant.
Who Qualifies
Female high school senior, residing in Northern Illinois, planning to continue her education (not limited to college). Must maintain a 2.5 scholastic average or equivalent. Several other qualities are given careful consideration, as detailed in the scholarship information in www.ywca.org/rockford.
Requirements
