The
Rockford Public Library is governed by a nine-member Board of Trustees,
appointed by the Mayor of Rockford with the approval of the City Council.
After appointment, Trustees serve a three-year term.
Meetings of the Library's Board of Trustees are
generally held on the fourth Monday of each month, beginning at
5:30 p.m. in the Friends of Rockford Public Library meeting room in the East Branch Library, 6685 E. State St.
