Star light, star bright, come and listen to stories tonight. Kids can wear their pajamas to the library for this family storytime filled with stories, activities and crafts.

What will you discover at RPL? Join us at our interactive weekly story hour that is fun for all ages. Each week we will celebrate a theme as we read exciting stories, sing silly songs, play entertaining games, and make an easy craft to take home.

    

Babes & Books (0 - 24 months)

Wednesdays,  11:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

(You must use outside Youth Services door, to the left of the Main entrance on Wyman St.)

Parents or caretakers of babies, bring your bundles of joy to the library for guided literacy hour that will focus on developing your baby's skills through baby steps, play, stories, songs, and loving interaction.

    

Look, Listen and Learn Storytime (Ages 2 - 5)

Thursdays, 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.

East Branch Program Room

Join us for stories, songs, finger plays, and craft for preschool aged children. Stories and activities will focus on Pre-K prep: counting, alphabet recognition, color recognition, playing with others and more.

        

Preschool Picnic Storytime (Ages 3 - 6)

Thursdays, 12:00 - 12:45 p.m.

Rockton Centre Branch

Pack or pick up a lunch and bring it to the library every Thursday for a storytime picnic with your friends. While we eat we will read stories, sing songs, play games. After lunch, we will make a cool craft to take home.

 

Bilingual Storytime (Spanish/English, Ages 3-8)

Thursdays, 4:00 - 4:45 p.m.

Rock River Branch

Join us on Thursdays for a bilingual storytime filled with fun and a craft to take home. Don't miss it!

  

SOUNS for Infants (Babies up to age 2)

Thursdays, 6:00 - 6:45 p.m.

East Branch

What the hand experiences, the mind remembers. SOUNS is a specially-designed infant literacy-building program that focuses on the physical experience of letters and sounds. The program is meant to be enjoyed by infants and their caregivers. You won't want to miss this chance to bond with your baby and start on a path to success.
