Job Corps is a primarily residential job training and education program that helps economically disadvantaged youth, ages 16-24, earn a high school diploma or GED, train in a career area of their choice and get a good job. Job Corps' hands-on career skills training is provided in a safe, drug-free environment where most students live in dorms and receive basic medical care, meals and a biweekly living allowance.
